Former finance minister Tito Mboweni had tweeps stressed out after they saw what he had made for dinner on Monday, 21 August, and they had no problem letting him know what they thought about his cooking in the comment section.

‘HIDE THAT’: TWEEPS REACT TO TITO MBOWENI’S CHICKEN DINNER

Tito Mboweni enjoys cooking. But that doesn’t necessarily mean he is a good cook. He has been roasted by Twitter users on several occasions for his cooking methods and left many of them confused about his recipes.

If he is not chopping an elaborate amount of garlic, he is “drowning” his dinner in onions and tomatoes. However, this time, he has switched up his usual tactics and decided to lay off his usual ingredients and opted for a slow-cooked chicken served with potatoes on the side.

“No Loadsheding this evening. So I decided to do this one. Slow-cooked and not drowned! Yee of no faith!” he captioned.

“Added some potatoes! Looks promising,” he added.

While most people are convinced that Mboweni is monied enough to hire a chef, he has proved to be down to earth with his self-made meals. He resigned from parliament in 2022, just four months after he left his seat in the cabinet, EWN reported. And has been finding his way around his kitchen ever since.
