‘Spud’ actor Troye Sivan stars in ‘One of Your Girls’ music video
South African-born actor Troye Sivan, who starred in ‘Spud’ switches his appearance from man to woman in music video ‘One of Your Girls’.

The popular Spud actor and singer Troye Sivan switched his appearance in One of Your Girls to combat gendered stigmas.

‘SPUD’ ACTOR RISE TO FAME
The Australian-based singer and actor Troye Sivan, who starred in Spud alongside John Cleese in 2010 as the title character is channelling his inner drag queen for his new music video One of Your Girls.
Sivan rose to prominence after joining YouTube in 2007, where he came out as gay in 2013 and became known for his music, personable nature and collaborations with other YouTubers.
The 28-year-old singer and YouTuber who was born in Johannesburg has more than 7.5-million subscribers.
TshisaLIVE reported in February 2022 that he released his debut album Blue Neighbourhood in 2015, his second album Bloom in 2018 peaked at No four on the US album charts.
The publication adds that he’s one of the most streamed artists of all time on Spotify (Top 200) with more than 5-billion streams.

TROYE SIVAN: ‘I WAS GETTING A LITTLE MORE CONFIDENT’
The 28-year-old singer Troye Sivan dresses in drag for the music video One of Your Girls and wears a blonde wig and a white dress while singing.
The musician released his One Of Your Girls music video after his third studio album Something To Give Each Other.
The singer-actor tells APNews that everything has been leading up to this moment.
“When I remember the first album, I remember being so stressed and in my head and full of self-doubt and imposter syndrome.”
“On the second album, I was getting a little bit more confident and finding my feet and still didn’t 100% know how to get from point A to point B.”
Troye adds that he took his time and went to places that he loved, worked with people that he loves.
