Trevor Nyakane has gushed over his close friendships amongst his Springboks teammates in a heartwarming post.
The 34-year-old star athlete is part of the squad that will take on Romania in the Rugby World Cup on Sunday, 17 September.

TREVOR NYAKANE: ‘BLESS TO DO WHAT I LOVE’
In a sweet Instagram post, Trevor Nyakane praised two of his closest friends in the Springboks squad: Bongi Mbonambi and Ox Nche.
He posted: “Enjoying every moment of this journey. Blessed to be able to do what I love on the highest level with my brothers”.
Back in 2019, Trevor reflected on his friendship with Bongi, who will captain this week’s Rugby World Cup.
The duo – who were “roomies” during the last Rugby World Cup in Japan – joked about their antics off the pitch.

ANOTHER BROMANCE WE LOVE
Trevor Nyakane and his friends are not the only bromance on the Springboks squad. Captain Siya Kolisi and Ebene Etzebeth are also known for their banter on social media.
In Eben’s latest Instagram post, he poked fun at Siya’s motor mouth.
Wearing a pair of headphones, he captioned a pic with his bestie: He added in the caption: “Great way to block out any unwanted sounds.”
After catching Eben’s fiery shots, Siya responded in the comment section: “I’m speechless. Hey wena!”
