Whether tall or small, these Springboks players pack a mean punch on the pitch. Here are the shortest and tallest stars of the squad.

Like the notion of the rainbow nation itself, the Springboks team is made up of a group of diverse players.
But whether small or tall, the South African national team equally packs a mean punch on the pitch.
The Boks will face off against one of their biggest Rugby World Cup rivals, Ireland, on Saturday, 23 September.

SPRINGBOKS PLAYERS: WHO ARE THE SHORTEST AND TALLEST?
According to Outlier, the average height of a Springbok player is 1,86m, which is 20cm taller than the average South African man.
The shortest players in the squad are:
- Cheslin Kolbe – 1.7m
- Faf de Klerk – 1.73m
- Grant Williams – 1.74m

The tallest players in the squad are:
- Eben Etzebeth – 2.03m
- Jean Kleyn – 2.03m
- RG Snyman – 2.06m
Additionally, there is a 30cm difference between the tallest player – RG Snyman at 2.06m – and their shortest player – wing Cheslin Kolbe at 1.7 m.

SA VS IRELAND: WHEN AND WHERE
The Springboks will play their next match in the Rugby World Cup against Ireland on Saturday, 23 September at the Stade de France stadium.
The match kicks off at 21:00 SA time. It can be watched on DStv’s SuperSport channels and SABC 2, or streamed via the SABC Plus website and app.
