Springboks player Vincent Koch has been left out of the Rugby World Cup squad set to face Ireland on Saturday, 23 September. The player’s hopes of playing in the game were dashed after he was injured during a warm-up session last week.

While Koch is likely disappointed, fans are also concerned about the seriousness of his injury and what that means for the rest of the competition.

According to the Boks, Vincent last played in the starting line-up of a match in 2019.
