While French players wept following a devastating Rugby World Cup game loss, Springboks fan were seen grooving to Mandoza’s ‘Nkalakatha’.

Mandoza’s hit song Nkalakatha was the celebratory anthem of the Springboks and their supporters at the Stade De France following their defeat of host country France.

The popular South African track was heard blaring through the speakers just seconds after the national team was announced the winners of the quarter-final clash.

The Boks – who won the game 29-28 – will go on to face England in a semi-final showdown next weekend.

MANDOZA’S NKALAKATHA SHINES AT THE RUGBY WORLD CUP

While France’s national team players were seen weeping following their Rugby World Cup exit, the Springboks stars shed tears of joy.

And adding to the celebration was the proudly South African hit track Nkalakatha.

The song, made famous by the late Mandoza, is a popular choice when it comes to parties and music events.

One tweep posted: “Nkalakatha! If only Mandoza knew what a hit his song has become again! What a legend!

“The stadium was lit when this song played after we won!”

While the Springboks were ready to pop the champers at progressing to the semi-finals, Mzansi did have a good chuckle at the French mourning to the soundtrack of SA tune.

“Nkalakatha is the song the French people heard when their whole world was coming crashing down yesterday,” posted one tweep.

Another cheeky tweep asked: “France, sorry guys, but do you mind buying your people SA flags for the next matches… come dance to Mandoza with us?”
