Vincent Koch – who will make his first start in the Springboks squad in four years – has passed his impeccable ball skills to his firstborn son, as seen in a cute clip posted on Instagram.

The national team player has made the squad for South Africa’s clash against Tonga.  The Rugby World Cup game will take place on Sunday, 1 October, at  Stade Vélodrome  in France.

VINCENT KOCH MAKES SPRINGBOKS STARTING SQUAD

Vincent Koch has been drafted to play against Tonga after he injured his knee during a training session earlier this month.

This marks the first time the Springbok has been selected to start off a game since the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Koch reportedly suffered a slight injury just hours before playing in SA’s clash against Romania. While he was left off the game against Ireland, fans are happy to see him back in action this weekend.

One X user shared: “I’m excited to see Vincent Koch back.”

HIS MINI-ME?

Meanwhile, Vincent Koch’s wife, Jandre, has posted a cute clip of their son Luca kicking around a ball.

And it’s clear he is following in his famous father’s footsteps.

“Can Rassie not select him for this weekend?” commented on follower. Another added: “Future Springbok, just like his dad.”
