‘Gloves are off’: Brazen England TikToker wants to meet Eben Etzebeth [watch]

England ruby superfan and outspoken TikToker Kieran Williams is keen to meet Springbok Eben Etzebeth after trash-talking his name on the social media platform.

The video creator – who has riled up thousands of South Africans with his commentary – responded to a comment supposedly by the rugby star.

His comments came after the Springboks beat France in last Sunday’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final. This weekend, the boys in green and gold will take on England in a semi-final showdown at the Stade de France.

TIKTOKER RESPONDS TO EBEN ETZEBETH COMMENT

In a viral TikTok video, England rugby supporter Kieran Williams expressed his disdain for the Springboks, the defending Rugby World Cup champions.

He even went as far as to accuse the SA team of cheating and having the referee rule in their favour. But the brazen young man took it a step further when he called out player Eben Etzebeth for his head-on-head collision with a French player.

In the comments section, an account seemingly belonging to Eben responded to Williams’s shady comments.

It read: “Well, you said it. At least we are always humble to ourselves and our fellow South Africans. Thanks for supporting our team.”

In a follow-up TikTok video, Kieran Williams demanded a face-to-face meeting with the towering Springbok star.

He brazenly said: “Eben Etzebeth does not want the smoke.” He then called for Etzebeth to have a table discussion with him about rugby

“Gloves are off, face to face…I want Eben Etzebeth on one side and me on the other. I want us to have a conversation about rugby”.

Williams added: “Kieran 10, South Africa 10”.

VOWING TO SUPPORT THE SPRINGBOKS, IF THEY WIN

Despite being confident that his team – England – will knock out the Springboks this weekend, Kieran Williams has promised to be a good sport if they don’t.

This includes agreeing to fan requests that he wear a Springboks jersey, proclaiming South Africa is the best team in the world, and publicly apologising to fans.

He also agreed to start a GoFundMe page with proceeds going towards him visiting South Africa and socialising with rugby fans.
