The 2023 Rugby World Cup is officially here, and the Springboks are ready to defend South Africa’s title in France!

The boys in green and gold are sharing their journey at the exciting tournament, which kicks off on Friday, 8 September.

SPRINGBOKS TAKE THE RUGBY WORLD CUP: WHERE AND WHEN

The Rugby World Cup takes place from 8 September to 28 October in France. The matches – featuring 20 countries – will take place in nine world-class stadiums around France.

The Springboks will play their first match against Scotland on Sunday, 10 September, at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.

Other fixtures include:

  • SA vs Romania on 17 September
  • SA vs Ireland on 23 September
  • Tonga vs SA on 1 October

The match kicks off at 17:45 (SA time).

HOW TO WATCH

Presently, only Dstv Premium subscribers will be able to watch the Rugby World Cup and the Springboks in action. This, after the SABC failed to secure the broadcasting rights.

The matches will be broadcast on SuperSport Grandstand (DStv channel 201).
