A rugby fan hilariously butchered Springboks player Eben Etzebeth’s surname in a TikTok video posted on Instagram on Monday, 16 October. The rugby fan had social media users in stitches and urging the Bok lock to meet his fan.

The Springboks have made it into the semi-finals . This comes after the South African national rugby team beat France on their home ground on Sunday with the scoreboard showing 28:29 by the time the whistle was blown. “That was a brutal test match. In the first couple of minutes, they [France] scored, then we scored and it went on like that – a one-point game! Obviously, it is a relief inside me, the French must be heartbroken so thoughts to them, BBC quoted Eben Etzebeth as saying.

A rugby fan had netizens rolling on the floor with laughter after hearing how he butchered Etzebeth’s surname. In the clip, the fan can be heard screaming “Elizabeth” instead of Etzebeth.
