Just weeks after the Tonga rugby club shared a special prayer for the Springboks to get to the Rugby World Cup finals, the boys in green and gold were seen doing the same in a touching locker-room picture.

The South African national team will take on New Zealand’s All Blacks next weekend at the Stade de France, after defeating rugby rivals England on Saturday.

SPRINGBOKS KNEEL IN PRAYER

In the wake of their 16-15 win over England, a picture of the Springboks united in prayer went viral. In the pic, the team stands and kneels while linking arms.

The pic comes weeks after Tonga prayed with the Boks to get to the finals injury-free. This after SA defeated them in the Pool B group stages.

The picture evoked a strong reaction from supporters, who believe prayers will help SA win the Rugby World Cup again.

“With God on our side, who can be against us?” commented an Instagram user. Another added: “No weapon formed against us shall prosper!”

‘WE CAME, WE PRAYED, WE CONQUERED’

The touching Springboks pic is reminiscent of a post by player Cheslin Kolbe’s wife Layla, who claimed the team WAGS “prayed” them into the finals.

Just one day after SA won the Rugby World Cup in 2019, Layla posted: “We came, we prayed, we conquered!

“A month in Japan, and I firmly believe God sent us here full of faith and on assignment.
