For the love of green and gold: Springbok Eben Etzebeth was seen wearing a pair of colourful underwear following the Tonga game on Sunday.

When it comes to the Springboks, what players wear on the inside is just as important as the kit itself. Which is why South Africans did not bat an eyelid when it came to Eben Etzebeth showing off his green and gold underwear after Sunday’s game.
The larger-than-life player was seen showing off his fruity briefs while swopping kits with his Tonga player opponents following a Rugby World Cup game.
The Boks defeated their opponents 49-18 in their final Pool B game. However, it will be a waiting game to determine if they proceed to the quarter-finals following an Ireland vs Scotland clash next weekend.

EBEN ETZEBETH SHOWS OFF GREEN AND GOLD UNDIES
In a clip posted by the Twitter or X account of the Rugby World Cup, South African and Tonga rugby team players were seen exchanging their kits after the match.
But one particular Springbok stood out from the crowd – Eben Etzebeth.

The lanky star was seen wearing green and gold underwear, which matched his kit. The underwear was adorned with watermelon and pineapple fruit prints.

Eben Etzebeth is not the only Springbok who donned a pair of quirky underwear on the pitch.
Fellow players Faf de Klerk and Steven Kitshoff are also known for their colourful knickers.
