King MisuZulu’s alleged ex-girlfriend Sihle Sibisi has come out to explain a circulating video showing an intimate moment between her and the AmaZulu king.

The women and children’s rights activist — who is also the founder of Kwanele Foundation — has been trending on social media for her rumoured relationship with the king who is married to Queen Ntokozo Mayisela-Zulu.

In a video shared on social media, King MisuZulu is seen laying on Sibisi’s lap as he snores away. Before the short clip ends, Sibisi shows her face.

Explaining the clip, she claimed that she was hacked.

“Last year December, I did notify that my phone (not only my phone) but our Kwanele Foundation page was hacked. As a result, Kwanele Foundation had to start a new social media account…

“My phone was completely wiped out, meaning there was no more information on my phone,” she said.

Sibisi slammed those talking about her, further slamming a social media account by a Mr Qonqogwane for circulating videos about her and the king.

“Everyone who has been in a relationship will understand that sometimes you take personal videos for your own personal, private consumption that are kept in your phone just for you two to keep.

“This video was taken last year,” she explained.

In addition, she claimed that someone was on a mission to defame King MisuZulu’s name and integrity.

Last month, City Press reported on Sibisi and the King’s romance; from how they met and fell in love to their relationship eventually coming to an end.

Sibisi claimed that she and King MisuZulu fell in love and became intimate after a few dates and a visit to the fertility clinic. However, the couple broke up and she allegedly was painted as an intruder in a statement released by the royal palace.

Thereafter, Sibisi claimed that she had been receiving death threats from unknown numbers which resulted in her laying an intimidation charge at the Douglasdale police station in Johannesburg.

Speaking to Zimoja, the anti-gender-based violence activist denied claims of being a homewrecker.

“It is unfair to accuse me of being a homewrecker when I do understand polygamy. I loved that man and I still do but we are better off apart. This thing of spreading lies about me is not on. I am at peace with being single now,” she told the publication.

Sibisi further claimed that she was not the only woman who was dating King MisuZulu; adding that her name was being used to tarnish King MisuZulu’s name.

“I hate this thing of being used in the royal house battles. The people who go around spreading fake news about me are the same people that did not want MisuZulu to ascend the throne. They are now using my name to tarnish the king’s image,” she added.
