Longwe Twala, the son of veteran musician and producer Sello Chicco Twala, has set tongues wagging on social media platform X. This comes after photos of a vagrant were shared on the platform and spread like wildfire.

Although the two pictures do not clearly show Longwe’s face, a number of netizens are convinced that the gaunt homeless man is the child star.

“Senzo Meyiwa is fighting from the grave!!” commented one X user.

While another wrote: “It has always been said that he was a drug addict. Addiction, any kind, doesn’t end well no matter how much you think you’ve got it under control. It always ends badly.”

Longwe was one of the people who were in the Khumalo household in Vosloorus on 26 October 2014 when former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was shot and killed. According to the State, which has arrested five suspects, two of the men entered the house that night.

However, according to Senzo’s brother, Sifiso Meyiwa, Longwe was the one who arrived with a gun to the Khumalo family home because he could not get ahold of his then-girlfriend Zandie Khumalo – the younger sister of singer Kelly Khumalo who was dating Senzo at the time. . Sifiso reiterated this version during his interview with eNCA in August this year.

During the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial last year, Longwe, who is a known drug addict, was accused of pulling the trigger that fateful night. The accusations were revealed last November by former defence counsel for accused number one to four, Timothy Thobane, who said Senzo’s friend, Tumelo Madlala, had made them in a statement.

However, Longwe has previously said that he ran out of the house when the alleged intruders entered.

The reboot murder trial started in July this year under a new judge, Ratha Mokgoatlheng.
