SASHA-LEE TAYLOR AND MISS WORLD SOUTH AFRICA

At 26, Sasha-Lee Taylor hails from Gauteng and wears many hats. She’s a business owner, a published author, and a compassionate philanthropist with a passion for education and youth development.

Sasha-Lee Taylor’s dedication to making a difference ignited at a tender age. Since then, she has been actively involved in uplifting others, even during her high school days.

EDUCATION

Motivated by an unwavering commitment to humanity, the well-being of the youth, and mental health, Sasha-Lee Taylor pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. She then double majored in Psychology and Marketing. It was during her academic journey that she discovered her calling.

The ‘Learn to Read, Learn to Lead’ campaign is one of Sasha-Lee’s most cherished initiatives. It aims to foster literacy across the nation by providing valuable learning materials to underserved areas. This includes schools that lack resources.

HUMANITARIAN WORK

This endeavour is a collaborative effort between Sasha-Lee Taylor and her sister. They both contributed to the campaign by writing and illustrating educational books. Moreover, organizations like the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and Child Welfare Tshwane Fund joined forces to bring this vision to life.

She passionately believes that education forms the bedrock for equitable opportunities, allowing individuals to break free from the cycle of poverty and contribute substantially to society.
