It’s Springboks match day, and South Africa Rugby director Rassie Erasmus is feeling “lekka” about South Africa’s performance at the Rugby World Cup.

And so are fans, who reposted a clip of the cheeky icon burning a hole in the dance floor.

On Sunday, 10 September, the boys in green and old – or aqua blue this time – will take on Scotland in their first tournament match.

RASSIES ERASMUS FEELING ‘LEKKA’

In a tweet on the eve of the Springboks’ first Rugby World Cup match, Rassie Erasmus reflected on his state of mind.

He posted: “We see and feel all your support. Was just looking through all the #BokFriday pics!! So lekka! Baie dankie”

And rugby fans quickly reminded him of his “lekka” dance moves, too.

One tweep posted an old clip of the no-nonsense SA Rugby director letting his hair down with some funky dance moves. “It’s game day”, the tweet read.

The clip was initially taken in 2021 and quickly went viral. In it, a bare-footed Rassie  – wearing a Springboks jacket – showed off some “dad moves” to an upbeat track. Being a good sport, Rassie laughed along with social media users.

He tweeted: “Remember I am white and have no rhythm.”

It’s not the first time Rassie has had us giggling with his dance moves. In October, the former Springboks player posted a clip of him celebrating the end of his World Rugby ban following a controversial social media rant.
