‘RHOD’ star Mbali Ngiba’s role divides ‘Umkhokha: The Curse’ fans

The Umkhokha: The Curse actress Mbali Ngiba was one of the new cast members on the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) season three earlier this year.

MBALI NGIBA: ZODWA TRENDS

The RHOD reality TV star Mbali Ngiba replaced legendary actress Linda Sokhulu as Mamzobe’s (Deli Malinga) sister, Zodwa and MaBusi’s (Hope Mbhele) mother in Mzansi Magic’s latest telenovela Umkhokha: The Curse.

Ngiba’s character, Zodwa has been trending week after week as she’s sleeping with her sister’s husband, Difa, who she also has a daughter (MaBusi) with.

While some viewers of the faith-based telenovela are defending Zodwa for betraying her villainous sister, #TeamMamzobe feel that Zodwa’s baby should be terminated.

Difa (Sibonile Ngubane) also devastated Mamzobe’s fans this week when he revealed that he wants to take Zodwa as his second wife, without his wife’s blessing.

@v_bonna tweeted: “Even if MaMzobe took Difa from Zodwa first, what Zodwa is doing is still not justified. Nobuntu loved and wanted to marry Spha, they were even on talking stage of “sthandwa sam”. Will it be justified if she has an affair with him?”

‘UMKHOKHA: THE CURSE’ SPOILERS

The TVSA Umkhokha: The Curse teasers reveal that Mbali Ngiba’s character Zodwa will come close to losing her baby on Friday, 25 August episode.

Friday, 25 August teaser reads: “A trail of blood gives Zodwa and Difa the shock of their lives.”

The Monday, 28 August episode reveals that her baby will be saved.

Monday, 28 August: “Zodwa comes very close to losing her pregnancy but is saved in the brink of time and MaMzobe is far from happy hearing the news.”
