A type?: Three blonde bombshells linked to Oscar Pistorius [photos]

When it comes to women, Oscar Pistorius has his pick of beautiful, glamorous women. Even from his prison cell, the man convicted of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp a decade ago has thousands of female fans supporting his parole bid – which takes place on Friday, 31 March.

But when it comes to real-life romances, Oscar clearly has a type: blonde and blue-eyed.

THREE BLONDES LINKED TO OSCAR PISTORIUS

Samantha Taylor

Samantha has been vocal about her rollercoaster romance with the former Paralympian. In fact, she’s even written a book about her ex – whom she called “angry and obsessive.”

Oscar: An Accident Waiting to Happen recounts how the athlete allegedly left Samantha fearful with his jealous rages. The couple started dating in 2011 when Samantha was 17, and Oscar was 24. The relationship lasted 18 months – ending just before Oscar began dating Reeva Steenkamp in late 2012.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “What happened to Reeva Steenkamp could so easily have happened to me. I definitely think that could have been me – without a doubt – many, many, many times.”

Samantha would go on to date rapper Chad Da Don.

Jenna Edkins

Jenna was reportedly Oscar’s first love, whom he dated on and off for from 2008.

Unlike Samantha, Jenna – a banker – had a different experience with Oscar.

She tweeted during his murder trial: “I would just like to say I have dated Oscar on-off for five years, and he has never lifted a finger to me.”

She also attended the trial, where she supported Pistorius with hugs and encouraging words.

SLIDING INTO KATIE PRICE’S DMS

According to the British TV personality and pin-up model, Oscar began DM’ing her during his 2014 trial – then under the charges of culpable homicide.

She said of the encounter on UK talk show Loose Women: “He started messaging me during his case when all the media stuff was going on, before the verdict. It got to a point where I thought actually I didn’t want to message because I didn’t want to cross that barrier where I have a dialogue with him”.

The thrice-married mother of five claimed the messages began when she mentioned Pistorius in a magazine column she had written.

She continued: “He started thanking me, and I said, is this really him? My brother said, look at your messages, and it was verified. It was definitely him.”
