American pop-star Madonna has spoke out via an Instagram post on 10 July after being hospitalised in June, due to a life threatening bacterial infection.

‘I HAVE FELT YOUR LOVE’
On Monday, 10 July the queen of pop shared a statement to her Instagram. In her statement Madonna commented on the unfortunate health scare she endured and provided fans with an update of her condition. The artist started by extending gratitude to all those who have prayed for her and provided her with words of encouragement.
She has also thanked all her fans for their positive energy and continuous support.
“Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life”, she stated.
Like any concerned mother, the artist’s first immediate thought when waking up in hospital was her children. According to PageSix Madonna became a parent in 1996, and has raised six children.
“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children”.
Madonna’s second thought, was not wanting to disappoint any fans who already bought tickets for her tour as well as not letting down the people who worked with her and made great efforts to create her her show.
My second thought was that I did not want to disappointment anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone”, Madonna expressed.

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY
The singer seems hopeful and determined to getting better.
“My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!”
The Material Girl singer noted that her current plan is to reschedule her North American leg of the tour.
“The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe”.
Madonna concludes: “I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M”.
