South African actor Alfred Ntombela aka Shorty visited his good friend, filmmaker, Leon Schuster at his home and then rushed to Instagram on Friday, 6 October to give fans feedback following the filmmaker’s back surgery operation.
ALFRED NTOMBELA GIVES UPDATE ON LEON SCHUSTER’S HEALTH
Alfred Ntombela’s comment section was filled with good wishes dedicated to his bestie Leon Schuster. This comes after the legendary South African filmmaker revealed that he was in the hospital at the time, undergoing back surgery. Last month, the filmmaker took to his Facebook account and shared that he was in the hospital and appreciated his fans who had sent him get well-soon messages.
“Thank you very much to all my Facebook friends for the support with my back surgery. It’s not a nice place to be, but your beautiful words touch me deeply and I am sincerely grateful! Also grateful that the Lord held my hand tightly through the pain process!” Schuster penned on his wall.

It has been just about a month after Schuster’s back surgery and his buddy, Ntombela, had good news for the filmmaker’s fans. On his feed, the hilarious actor shared that the Mr. Bones filmmaker was “doing well and on the road to recovery”.
“Myself and my manager, Asgar Mahomed took some time off to visit my partner in crime, Leon Schuster at his house after his major back operation… Guys, Leon is doing well and on the road to recovery,” Ntombela said.
