Actress and reality star Khanyi Mbau revealed that she sat out Valentine’s Day this year as her friend, rapper Nadia Nakai was mourning the death of her boyfriend rapper AKA. Here’s a look at Kudzai’s spoils for the actress in 2021 and 2022.

KHANYI MBAU SKIPS VALETINE’S DAY THIS YEAR
Actress Khanyi Mbau and her Zimbabwean-businessman boyfriend Kudzai Mushonga have been known to show off their fancy and extravagant lives on social media. Since 2021, Kudzai has been spoiling the Happiness Ever After on Valentine’s Day.
However, this year was different. Khanyi revealed that she would not be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year because her friend Nadia Nakai was mourning the untimely death of her boyfriend AKA.
“I cannot celebrate today with my girl @nadianakai wounded,” she wrote on Instagram.

KHANYI MBAU AND KUDZAI’S VALENTINE’S DAY IN 2021
Khanyi Mbau received the most special treatment from Kudzai Mushonga on Valentine’s Day 2021. He surprised her with a private performance by a violinist, more than 1 000 roses and Louis Vuitton gifts.
Tweeps were green with envy over how lavish and spoiled the love of Kudzai’s life was on Valentine’s Day. At the time, she was just introducing her then new man to the world. The pair were the talk of the town because he was reportedly a Zimbabwean tycoon and allegedly a wanted man.

VALENTINE’S DAY IN 2022
Kudzai was still in Dubai while Khanyi was in South Africa for Valentine’s Day in 2022. She came back to South Africa around the time Happiness Ever After was released on Netflix.
She stayed in South Africa since then and bagged a gig on Showmax’s The Wife and this was followed by a role on a reality show on Netflix titled Young, Famous and Africa.
Khanyi shared a screenshot of the card Kudzai sent her and the roses and balloons she received.
“I found myself writing this note at 01:05am 14:02:22 since we are miles apart because of work but nothing can take away the beautiful memories we always created for each other. I can’t wait for us to have our 22 Valentine’s together. As we always paint the sky red with love. I love you today, tomorrow and forever. Will you be my Valentine?” read the note.
