Why Derick Hougaard’s ex-wife Karlien hasn’t performed in a month

Derick Hougaard’s ex-wife Karlien van Jaarsveld revealed on her Facebook account on Sunday, 2 July why she hasn’t been doing any shows.

DERICK HOUGAARD’S CHILDREN WON’T LET MOM GO

The singer Karlien van Jaarsveld shared a video of herself packing her suitcase to another show and her children with ex-husband Derick Hougaard unpacking her suitcase in the post.

“Every time I have to go somewhere for a show, I am not allowed to pack my suitcase. I haven’t done a show in a month because I hate leaving the house. You are my safe space.”

Van Jaarsveld, who recently returned to social media after receiving backlash from Hougaard’s fans has twin boys Eliah and Daniel with the former rugby player.

In the video that has received over a thousand comments, one of her son’s is unpacking her suitcase to prevent her from leaving the house.

The star, this week also shared videos of her performances at The Innibos Cultural Festival on her social media accounts and thanked the team for the opportunity.
