MORE ABOUT THE MASKANDI ARTIST

Igcokama Elisha was booked to perform at the upcoming Umbuso Wamaciko Maskandi Festival on 25 September at Curries Fountain Stadium in Durban. There is no set entrance fee, however, individuals interested in being guests in the VIP area will cough out R850 for a ticket.

Following Igcokama Elisha’s new set booking fee, Umbuso Wamaciko management team released a statement responding to the new proposed terms to book the Maskandi star.

“Our pre-booking of the artist regarding the event was way before the said recent achievements happened… Since our event is a free-fee access event, there is no profit we will make. Based on the restricted budget we will not afford the services of your artist, therefore consider our booking withdrawn for now,” ZiMoja quoted Umbuso Wamaciko management’s statement as saying.
