Grimes sues Elon Musk over parental rights of three kids

Canadian musician Claire Elise Boucher, popularly known as Grimes, reportedly filed a “petition to establish parental relationship” on 29 September in a California court. Grimes has three kids with South African-born billionaire Elon Musk.

GRIMES SUES ELON MUSK FOR ‘PARENTAL RIGHTS’

According to court reports obtained by Page Six, Grimes, the mom of three of Elon Musk’s 11 kids filed a petition “to establish parental relationship”. The publication reports that the request intends to have the court identify the legal parents of a child when they are unmarried.

Despite the docket for the case being public, the filings have been sealed. Grimes is yet to request custody rights or child support. Grimes and Musk welcomed their first child together X Æ A-Xii in May 2020. The pair then welcomed a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, who now goes as Y, in December 2021.

Journalist Walter Isaacson, who is the author of Musk’s biography, revealed that the billionaire and Grimes secretly welcomed their third child together in June 2022. This is Musk’s 11th child, whose is named Techno Mechanicus – nicknamed Tau.

GRIMES: ‘PLEASE LET ME SEE MY SON’

This comes after Grimes claimed that she hasn’t been able to see their eldest son X via a tweet in September this year.

The singer also claimed that Shivon Zilis – the mother of Musk’s “secret” twins has blocked her and she has not been able to see a photo of the twins.

“Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer. I have never been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet according to Jezebel.
