‘Gqeberha: The Empire’ fans unhappy with Akhenime’s acting
‘Gqeberha: The Empire’ fans are unimpressed with actress Akhenime Mfenyane’s acting skills, who plays Luzuko’s fourth wife Anathi.

Gqeberha: The Empire viewers have taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction with actress Akhenime Mfenyane, who plays Thulani’s love interest and Luzuko’s wife Anathi.

FANS UNIMPRESSED WITH AKHENIME MFENYANE’S ACTING
Viewers of the Mzansi Magic telenovela had high hopes for the actress Akhenime Mfenyane, who joined the show as Luzuko’s youngest wife, but were left disappointed in her delivery as Anathi.
Fans have revealed that the actress is unable to shed a tear, shows one range of emotion and looks unbothered throughout her scenes.
A fan from the show @tshepisotkzee compared Mfenyane to Larona Moagi, who played Tumi Mokoena from The River: “Watching Akhenime Mfenyana as Anathi on #GqeberhaTheEmpire is as cringeworthy as when we watched Larona Moagi as Tumi on The River.“
Another viewer @DakaloConfiden1 revealed that Mfenyane might soon drain her co-star Tembinkosi Ngcukana, who plays her baby daddy and stepson Thulani.

The actress is former The Queen and Generations actress Zendande Mfenyane’s sister, who’s been hailed as one of Mzansi’s most-talented actors.
