South African sangoma and reality TV star Gogo Maweni – real name Makgotso Lee-Anne Makopo celebrated her birthday in an interesting way this year. The Izangoma Zodumo star decided to record herself walking alongside a pride of lions and had her social media followers’ jaws dropped after posting the video on Instagram.

Gogo Maweni has continuously proved that she is not the one to be messed with. From confronting her impersonators to taking night walks at the graveyard and more. She also has a love for animals and has been seen with an owl, rabbits, and most shockingly, a few huge slithering snakes which she claimed to own and occasionally cuddle with at night.
On her birthday, she chose to take a stroll with three huge lions and looked as though she was part of the pride.
“Blessed beyond measure ❤️,” she captioned.

After watching her in the video with the lions, her social media followers were convinced the video was edited because of how comfortable she and the lions were together.
The 37-year-old sangoma is living her best life and has recently purchased an SUV Porsche for herself which will suit her even more now that she will be welcoming two babies with her husband, Sabelo. During an interview on DJ Sbu’s podcast, The Hustlers Corner SA, Gogo Maweni announced that she and her husband were expecting twins through IVF.
