South African sangoma and reality TV star Gogo Maweni—real name Makgotso Lee-Anne Makopo turned 37 on Tuesday 29 August. She has been teasing her fans and followers with glimpses into how she has been celebrating. She has recently taken to Instagram to show off just how much fun she had at her Gucci-themed birthday party over the weekend.

Gogo Maweni hosted her birthday party at Room 130 club in Parkmore, Johannesburg. She posted some videos from the club and could be seen having a ball with her friends who came dripped in their best Gucci pieces. She was dressed in black leather pants and a lacey corset and accessorised the look with a Gucci belt and matching shoes to go along with her luxurious theme.

Of course, every Gucci birthday deserves a Gucci cake! Gogo Maweni had a black and red birthday cake which was also decorated in the theme.

Last week, the Izangangoma Zodumo star decided to purchase a new car for herself on her birthday. She showed off photos of her brand-new SUV Porsche on her feed. She also went shopping and got herself a few new pieces from a Gucci store.

“♥️ The birthday ship has sailed,” she captioned the videos from her birthday party on Sunday.

Earlier this year, she was also spotted flaunting her receipt from a Gucci store after purchasing a bag that cost her a whopping R40 500, Briefly reported.
