‘God keeps elevating me’: Jub Jub a happy man despite court case

TV personality Jub Jub – real name Molemo Maarohanye – has something to celebrate despite his court battle on 13 counts ranging from multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and several counts of kidnapping.

JUB JUB CELEBRATES ‘UYAJOLA 9/9’ SUCCESS

In an Instagram (IG) post on Sunday, the musician celebrated the success of his TV show, Uyajola 9/9, which became the number one most watched show on DStv for the month of August.

The Ndikhokhele hitmaker shared a screenshot of his Twitter post on IG and thanked his fans – the Jubnation – for the support.

“Humility & your support has brought me this far. While they talk, God keeps on elevating me. Numbers don’t lie🙌 Jub did, there’s a God😉 thank you for the undying support Jubnation,” he wrote.

HAUNTED BY CANCEL CULTURE?

The news come a few weeks after to Sunday World reported that the media personality the rapper will no longer be appearing on SABC 1’s hit soapie Uzalo, as well as Mzansi Magic’s Clash of the Choirs.

According to the publication, Uzalo producers, Stained Glass Productions, reportedly sent the presemter an email confirming their termination. The company said it was withdrawing it’s agreement with him due to instructions from the broadcaster.

The reports were confirmed by Nokuthula Dlamini, who is the soapie’s line producer.

However, when Clash of The Choirs representative, Venessa Tloubatla, was contacted, she played coy to the claims.
