‘Faf is a menace’: Springboks scrumhalf meets Roger Federer in customary speedo [watch]
Springboks scrumhalf Faf de Klerk’s iconic 2019 speedo is back, and this time he met tennis star Roger Federer in it.

Faf de Klerk’s iconic 2019 speedo made a return on Saturday, 28 October, when the Springboks edged New Zealand 12-11 to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup title at the Stade de France.

FAF MEETS ROGER FEDERER IN SA UNDIES
The Boks scrumhalf’s SA flag-inspired underwear also featured when the world champions had a meet and greet with tennis legend Roger Federer, who downed a beer with them in their changeroom after the game.
Federer, wearing a South African scarf, was born to a South African mother. Although he is from Switzerland, he is also proud of his maternal roots.

Four years ago, after South Africa lifted the Webb Ellis trophy in Japan, Faf made headlines for his speedo – also giving birth to the #FafdeklerkChallenge.
“Meeting Roger Federer while wearing i-underpan is so unruly 😭😭😭😭 Faf is a menace,” one fan wrote.
“Faf has without a doubt become my favorite player. His character is just so stout,” another X user wrote.
“Someone said he gives last born vibes and here we are, with him in a single piece of clothing at an important time,” said another X users.

PRINCE HARRY ALSO KNOWS ABOUT THE SPEEDO
As mentioned, Faf’s speedo has been to Japan and made an appearance after the Springboks defeated England 32-12 in the Rugby World Cup final that year with the Boks’ nine meeting Prince Harry in the same fashion.
