‘In a cult’: Elon Musk fires more shots at Malema, EFF supporters?

Shots fired? SA-born businessman Elon Musk has seemingly shaded EFF leader Julius Malema and his followers in another tweet.

Elon Musk has seemingly taken another swipe at Julius Malema and his EFF supporters after condemning a viral video of the controversial politician.

The world’s richest man – who was born in Pretoria – accused the party leader of “pushing genocide of white people.” This following a clip of Malema singing the struggle song Kill The Boer.

Now the US-based entrepreneur has seemingly accused members of the EFF of being “in a cult.”

ELON MUSK THROWS SHADE AT MALEMA, EFF?

After commenting on a video of Malema, Elon Musk made another reference to the controversial politician.

Without naming him, he tweeted on Tuesday, 1 August: “Unless there are a few issues where you at least slightly disagree with your political party, then you are not in a political party, you are in a cult.”

Many of his Twitter followers took this as a direct swipe at the EFF.

HIGHLIGHTING FARM MURDERS IN SA

In a tweet that came as a surprise to South Africans, Elon Musk responded to concerning news back home.

The billionaire businessman – who was born in Pretoria –  reacted to a clip of Malema singing the song on stage. The clip was posted by New York Times journalist Benny Johnson who described it as “shocking.”

An outraged Elon responded: “They are openly pushing for the genocide of white people in South Africa.”

Elon then stunned his Twitter followers by tagging President Cyril Ramaphosa. He added: “Why do you say nothing?”

Elon Musk then responded to a tweet about SA farmer Theo Bekker and his wife Marlinda, who were murdered less than a day after Malema’s “Kill The Boer” song performance.

He replied with the tweet: “!!”.

Meanwhile, Julius Malema clapped back at Elon Musk’s comments.

Responding to his “genocide” tweet, the EFF leader posted: “He’s talking s**t.”
