Elon Musk following in Errol’s footsteps with custody battle?

South African-born billionaire Elon Musk is in a custody battle with ex-girlfriendCanadian musician Claire Elise Boucher, popularly known as Grimes, is he following in his father’s footsteps.

Page Six reports that there was an apparent victory for Grimes in her custody battle against Grimes as the kids are not allowed to leave California. The musician and Musk share X Æ A-Xii (3), Exa Dark Sideræl (1) and Tau Techno Mechanicus (1).

Is Elon following in his father’s footsteps? Elon is the son of South African engineer Errol Musk and Canadian model and dietician Maye Musk. According to Page Six, Errol took custody of his three kids with Maye – Kimble, Elon and Tosca after his divorce from Maye. He often took the boys to meetings.

However, Errol has since insisted that kids need their mothers.

“A woman is a very essential part of a home, a woman is the center of the home. The mother is the sun and the rest of the family are the planets. If a father went away for a few weeks, it would make no difference, but a woman is essential,” he said according to the publication.

ELON MUSK SUED GRIMES FIRST?

This comes after a report claimed that Musk quietly took legal action against Grimes over the parental rights of their three children, according to Page Six. This reportedly took place before she decided to sue the billionaire himself, according to newly released court documents.

In a petition filed in Texas, obtained by Insider, Musk seeks to become the legal parent of his three children with Grimes.

In the filing, Musk claimed that he had “actual care, control, and possession of each child since the birth of each child.” He noted that the care took place in Texas. He reportedly resides in Texas full time, for at least “six consecutive months.”

Musk accuses Grimes of “attempting to circumvent the jurisdiction” of the Texas court after recently declaring herself a non-resident of the state. However, the pair allegedly lived together in the same home with their kids from May to July.
