When it comes to flamboyant celebrities, TV and radio personality, Somizi Mhlongo takes the crown. Which is why we expected nothing less at his appearance at the Hollywoodbets Durban July this weekend
But the sassy star took things to another level with seven outfit changes!
SOMIZI TAKES THE HOLLYWOODBETS DURBAN JULY
Somizi – who hosted the Afrotainment marquee – made his grand entrance at the Hollywoodbets Durban in a costume that looked like something out of a sci-fi movie.
With the theme of “Out of This World,” the 50-year-old star channeled an alien who had been captured and paraded in public.

It wasn’t long after that Somizi made his second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and final seventh look for the evening. At one point, Somizi’s daughter Bahumi joined him for one of his looks.
Each outfit – made by a local designer – was more over-the-top and extra than the one before.

The day after the event, Somizi took to Instagram to thank all his designers and stylists.
He captioned the post: “I really had fun, shem!”
MOHALE MAKES AN APPEARANCE TOO
Meanwhile, Somizi’s ex-husband Mohale Motaung also made an appearance at the Hollywoodbets Durban July.
The actor and influencer was a guest of the Savanna Marquee.
