CANADIAN RAPPER, DRAKE DEDICATES HEARTBREAKING SONG TO HIS MOM

Much like Jay Z and Beyoncé, Drake has adopted a high level of privacy and rarely speaks about his private life. This is why he had his fans touched when he performed Look What You’ve Done to his mother live on stage. The Hot Bling hitmaker can be seen sitting next to his mother on stage as he rapped to her. She was evidently emotional listening to her son pouring his heart out to her in front of his fans.

“You love me, and I love you, and your heart hurts, mine does too/ And it’s just words and they cut deep, but it’s our world, it’s just us two/ I see painkillers on the kitchen counter, I hate to see, it all hurt so bad/ But maybe I wouldn’t have worked as hard if you were healthy and it weren’t so bad/” the lyrics read.

“Uh, maybe I should walk up the street, and try and get a job at the bank/ Cause leave it up to me, J, and Neeks, we’ll probably end up robbing a bank/ Then Wayne calls up my phone, conversation wasn’t that long/ Gets me a flight to Houston in the morning, oh, it’s my time, yeah, it’s on,” the lyrics read.

“After all the things that we been through, I got you, yeah/ Look what you’ve done, look what you’ve done/ Look what you’ve done for me now, yeah/ You knew that I was gon’ be something/ When you’re stressed out and you need somethin’, I got you, yeah/ Look what you’ve done, look what you’ve done/ Look what you’ve, look what you’ve,” the lyrics read.

After hearing and seeing Drake’s heartfelt performance recently, several fans in the comment section voiced that it made them truly emotional to see the raper with his mother. Several fans also voiced that Look What You’ve Done is still their favourite song by the rapper. For a rapper that’s not American, Drake has far surpassed the realms of rap and became Spotify’s most-streamed with 28 billion streams, Vogue reported.
