Person of interest? Red flags over Dr Pashy’s ‘missing passport’
Police are looking into Dr Pashy’s possible involvement with Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester, after she reported her passport ‘missing’.

Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani – also known as Dr Pashy – has found herself as a possible “person of interest” in a police investigation surrounding Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester.
According to reports, the Pretoria heart surgeon may have money ties with Magudumana, whom she is friends and associates with. It is even alleged that the fellow glamorous doctor gave her passport to Nandipha, who assumed her identity during an arrest over the weekend.
Magadumana and Thabo were arrested in Tanzania on Friday, 7 April. The duo were allegedly using fake passports – one of them under the full name of Dr Pashy.
They are expected to be deported imminently.

THE CASE OF THE ‘MISSING PASSPORT’
In a screenshot of an Instagram Story which has appeared on Twitter, Dr Pashy revealed that her passport had been stolen. She then updated the followers that she had reapplied to have it replaced. It’s unclear where and when the incident took place”.
On Monday afternoon, Dr Pashy issued a statement distancing herself from Nandipha Magudumana. She also claimed that she would be pursuing legal action against the aesthetics doctor for allegedly stealing her identity.

But according to investigative journalist Mzilikazi wa Afrika, Dr Pashy’s missing passport was suspicious. He also directed some hard-hitting questions at her, tweeting: “Dear Dr Pashy, can we talk frankly: Did Nandipha Magudumana steal your passport or you gave it to her? Can you confirm or deny that you ran away from your house last week when @SAPoliceService wanted to raid it? Did you give money to Nandipha and Bester?”

He continued: “I think @HomeAffairsSA should make public the affidavit Dr Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani submitted about her stolen passport and see if the facts are the same as her press statement released today. I know someone walking to a police station in Pretoria now”.
‘DR PASHY OFTEN GAVE DR NANDIPHA MONEY’
Interestingly Dr Nandipha and Dr Pashy are believed to be friends, after the latter was invited to speak at Magudumana’s medical conference in 2020. The event – titled Doctors Network Presents – was also attended by former Top Billing presenter Michael Mol and the late Sindi van Zyl.
That same year, the Dr Pashy Foundation hosted a women’s seminar, inviting Dr Nandipha to participate as a guest speaker.
According to eNCA, Dr Pashy visited a local police station, where she provided an official statement about her misplaced passport and her association with Dr Nandipha.

Silindelo Masikane said in a video report: “She [Dr Pashy] is somebody the police are looking into, because it does seem that Nandipha was borrowing money from her.
“Dr Pashy seems to be the financial muscle between the two in the relationship. Whenever Nandipha would need money or run out of money, Dr Pashy would be the one to provide it”.
