‘Make it rain’: Dr Malinga showers wife with money at graduation
Zamela Malinga attended her graduation at the University of KwaZulu-Natal recently. Her husband Dr Malinga surprised her and stole the show.

A man going by Dr Malinga @doctor_nokusholo on Twitter had online users divided after posting a video on 10 May of his wife, Zamela Malinga graduating.
TWITTER USERS ON DR MALINGA CELEBRATING HIS WIFE’S GRADUATION
Zamela recently graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She was said to be a lawyer. Many Twitter users were happy to see her husband celebrate her achievement. However, some online users were not thrilled to see how he did.
This is because when Zamela’s name was called, Dr Malinga was unable to contain his excitement and stole the show by running to his wife to hand her flowers and shower her with money. Some Twitter users were confused to see that Dr Malinga trended after celebrating his wife’s graduation as they had another Dr Malinga in mind.

The Dr Malinga that they thought was trending is South African musician Goodwill Malinga. Last year the musician made headlines after breaking down on Podcast and Chill with MacG and revealed he was experiencing financial problems. According to IOL, the Go Deeper Papa hitmaker reportedly revealed that he was having problems with SARS (South African Revenue Service) and reportedly said that his assets were being repossessed. With that, Twitter users thought the musician was already throwing money around.
After seeing some of the nasty comments online, the Dr Malinga that was actually celebrating his wife took out his frustrations on his timeline and said,
“The negative energy is just appalling – but what can you expect? This is a simple gesture of appreciation; despite all odds, my wife has yet AGAIN graduated! You clowns get away with insulting other people just because you have a following. Toxic Nxa!”
