Dineo Ranaka’s parents talk openly about intimacy on ‘Sex n Stuff’

Seasoned presenter and media personality Dineo Ranka had her parents Kgotlaesele and Nonceba Ranaka as guests on her new podcast Dineo On Sex n Stuff earlier this week and had them open up about their intimacy which had her jaws’ dropped on several occasions.

Dineo Ranaka’s parents, Kgotlaesele Ranaka who was 35 at the time, met and fell deeply in love with Nonceba who was 19 at the time. During their appearance on Dineo On Sex n Stuff, they went from bondage chairs to sexy lap dances, and even got to explore their curiosity in the Fetish Haven swing room.

According to its website, Fetish Haven aims to enhance and spice up relationships in a safe space without fear of judgment or losing yourself to your special someone. It is evident that Kgotlaesele and Nonceba had a blast on the show and at the sex-dungeon venue that Dineo brought them to.

Dineo’s mother described her experience at the erotic location as being something like a kindergarten for adults.

“You can fantasise, play and think that what is it that can harness what you have,” she said.

Nonceba shared that with her generation, sex can sometimes be routine and not much is explored besides the norm.

“You only know one thing and you wonder why there’s a distance… That openness becomes wider, especially in our generation – married couples. You find that there’s no spark. It’s just me, myself, and I, and you, yourself, and you,” she added.

She shared that usually when couples get older, their intimacy gets broken by aging and parenthood and said that at her age, people generally compensate themselves by focusing their attention on their grandchildren.

Meanwhile, Kgotlaesele, whose now 80 years old shared that he had never seen anything like what he had seen at Fetsish Haven. He shared that in the black communities as well as his generation, such venues don’t typically exist and the culture of being open about sex is something foreign. He shared that he had previously feared seeing what would be inside a “sex house” and added that he always imagined it to be something sinister.

However, after taking a tour of the venue and learning more about pleasure and sex, he is more open-minded.

“The experience and knowledge that I have now [is] this is a beautiful place actually, for adults whether married or not,” he said.
