WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE UPCOMING SERIES

The crime thriller is based on the best-selling 2004 novel by world-renowned South African writer Deon Meyer. Devil’s Peak is set to disrupt M-Net’s Sunday night movie slot at 21:00. The series is based in Cape Town and filmed in and around the city including Paarl and Somerset West.

“Whilst circling one another, Benny and Thobela are brought into the orbit of desperate trapped single mother Christine, willing to do anything to achieve a better life for herself and her daughter. The fates of these three characters become inextricably linked as the series builds to its explosive climax,” reads the series synopsis.

“Combining gripping tension with uncompromising authenticity, Devil’s Peak offers an original South African take on the investigative thriller,” reads the series synopsis.
