‘Cereal RamaXhosa’: SA on Cyril Ramaphosa’s look-alike [watch]

A mischievous social media user had X (formally known as Twitter) users in stitches after posting a video of a man resembling the South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa as seen in the post shared on Thursday, 26 October.

As everyone gears up for the Springbok vs New Zealand final 2023 Rugby World Cup game in Paris on Saturday, social media has been buzzing with all kinds of trends. One of which is Cyril Ramaphosa who recently said he will consider making 30 October a public holiday if the Springboks fly the South African flag high and win the Rugby World Cup for the fourth time in their history.

“The president has received a lot of messages in this regard via us and directly. South Africans from all walks of life have reached out to him. He said to me I must relay the fact that he’s considering the request,” EWN quoted the Presidential Spokesperson Vincent Magwenya as saying.

Magwenya also confirmed that the President will be travelling to Paris, France to watch the Springboks live, SABC reported.

Meanwhile, a local man has also topped the social media trend list after a playful X user posted a video of him, claiming that he resembled the President. A number of X users couldn’t help but agree as they flooded the comment section with their hilarious views in support of the claims.
