As one of the greatest footballers in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has a legion of adoring fans. Which is why when one invaded the pitch and embraced him, the star gladly returned the love.
The incident occurred during Portgal’s Euro qualification match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday, 17 June.

In a viral clip, the man dodges security and runs onto the field to hug Cristiano Ronaldo.
The excited fan picks up the star, then bows down at his feet to show his love and adoration. The superfan also shows Cristiano his attempt at the footballer’s famous goal celebration.

While many footballers would’ve chastised or even shunned an intrusive pitch invader, Cristiano smiled and embraced the man. He even joined in on the goal celebration dance.

The pitch invader was not the only superfan Cristiano Ronaldo met at the match.
Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed had his dream come true when he crossed paths with the Al-Nassr player following Portugal’s win on Saturday.
