One of Mzansi’s most loved couples – Takkies and Chris Dinwiddy – have fuelled rumours that they’ve gone their separate ways, allegedly over infidelity.
The celebrity choreographer and YouTuber – real name Nkateko Dinwiddy – and her husband, who both live in the UK, tied the knot in 2017. They are parents to two daughters.
The couple is known for their fun family dance videos posted on Instagram.

DID TAKKIES AND CHRIS DINWIDDY SPLIT?
According to unconfirmed social media commentary, Chris and Takkies Dinwiddy called time on their marriage over allegations that he had an affair.
Twitter user @Neliswa_Nelli posted over the weekend: “Apparently, ubhuti cheated with his high school friend.”
Chris and Takkies married in a glamorous wedding featured on Top Billing. The couple has two daughters, Suri and Sana. Chris also has two daughters from his first marriage.
In 2020, the couple relocated to London, where Takkies works as a choreographer, teaching South African dances like Amapiano.
However, in recent months, the couple has stopped posting pictures of their family of four. Instead, Chris and Takkies post pictures of themselves and their daughters.
Takkies has also stopped sharing YouTube videos of the family.
And Chris’s Instagram bio has hinted that something is amiss. It reads: “Father of 4 daughters. Trying my best. New chapters”.
In the comments section, many followers have questioned their relationship status.

Clarazungumtui: “Looks like they are not together.”
Trevo_rny: “They shared almost of their lives with us, so yeah we deserve to know. We’re emotionally attached to them”.
The South African reached out to Takkie for comment. None was received at the time of publishing.
