Father-of-11 Elon Musk says parents should be ‘incentivized’ to have children to ‘create the next generation of humans.

Businessman Elon Musk argues that there should be greater financial incentives to encourage people to create the next generation of humans or spiral into oblivion.

The billionaire father-of-11 Elon Musk says parents should be incentivized to have children to drive population growth across the world and warned humanity will be doomed to ‘oblivion’ if birth rates drop.

Musk wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Having children should be incentivized, not be a financial penalty like it is in most countries!”

“We must create the next generation of humans or spiral into oblivion,” he added. 

Daily Mail reports that Musk was responding to the President of Hungary, Katalin Novak’s poll who asked: “Should people with children be at a financial disadvantage compared to those without? In Hungary, we would like people with children to have a financial advantage.” 

Hungary announced that set of pro-natalist policies including tax exemptions for women with more than four children, loans that get written off after couples have three or more children, help for first-time buyers with kids and access to government-owned fertility clinics.

Wired also reported in 2021 that Musk claimed if people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble.

BILLIONAIRE: 11 CHILDREN

The South African-born billionaire Elon Musk has 11 children namely, Techno Mechanicus, Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon, Damian, X, Nevada, Exa and a set of twins whose names are not yet known.

The Tesla founder has fathered his children with three women, his first child was born in 2002 and his recent were born in 2023.

People Magazine reports that he shares the first six children with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson, who he first met as students at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.

He married actress Talulah Riley twice, in 2010 to 2012, and in 2013 to 2016. They pair never had children together.

Musk and singer-songwriter Grimes, real name Claire Boucher were in a relationship in 2018, had their first child in 2020, another child via surrogate in 2021 and another in September 2023.

The businessman secretly fathered twins with Shivon Zilis in November 2021 and the twins were born in Austin, Texas, according to court documents.
