MORE ABOUT THE SOCCER PLAYER’S INJURY/INCIDENT

Bernand Parker was rushed to hospital after the recent incident and is said to have broken two bones, SowetanLIVE reported. According to the publication, his attacker, Bongani Zungu has not yet extended an apology since failing to accept his part in the accident as seen on the field on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old’s coach Sead Ramovic is said to have opened up and shared that he believes that a Sundowns coach will be in touch with an apology soon.

“Zungu didn’t do it on purpose, this happens in football. But Parker is mentally strong. He is a role model and we will support him to make sure he comes back stronger. It’s a big loss for us. He has a great attitude and mentally, he is strong,” Ramovic was quoted as saying.
