Another heartbreak: Amor Vittone confirms split from doctor bae

Just weeks after the devastating loss of her father, Amor Vittone is suffering another heartbreak – splitting from partner Charles Serrurier.

The widow of former Springboks star Joost van der Westhuisen and her plastic surgery boyfriend called time on their relationship of less than a year.

Last month, Amor’s father, Dario died after undergoing open heart surgery.

AMOR VITTONE CONFIRMS SPLIT FROM BAE

In a recent Facebook post, Amor Vittone confirmed her split from her partner Dr Charles Serrurier.

Responding to one follower, the singer and actress shared: “Nothing went wrong. Our journeys are just different now”.

Amor told another fan, that she and her ex were “just friends”.

Despite posting dozens of steamy pics of their romance on their social media accounts, Amor and Charles went radio silent on their relationship in recent weeks.

Their last posts of each other was back in April. During that time, the couple had returned from an adventurous baecation through Europe and the Middle East. Amor and Charles had also fuelled wedding rumours after Amor was spotted dress-shopping and with a diamond ring on her ring finger.

WHO IS DR CHARLES SERRURIER?

Here are four things to know about Amor Vittone’s ex-partner…

He’s a registered plastic surgeon

According to his biography on his website, Dr Charles Serrurier is a specialist Cosmetic and Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon based at Rosebank Hosptial.

He’s a widow

Like Amor Vittone who lost husband Joost van der Westhuizen, Charles has also lost a spouse – his wife Jemma, who died in early 2022.

Similarly, Charles also married his “soul mate.”

According to his Facebook page, Charles is now a “loving single father of two boys.”

He’s an adventure junkie

His biography states: “When he is not in his suit or scrubs, you will find him exploring the bush with his family or on more extreme expeditions deep into the wild, armed with nothing other than a sleeping bag and his keen wits.”

He first appeared on Amor’s social media account in October 

The post was in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Just one month later, Amor Vittone and Charles Serrurier were “Facebook official” as a couple.
