Who are the members of the Presidential Cartel, which has since been likened to the famous Billionaires Club?

The Presidential Cartel is best known for its spending sprees, booze and fast cars, which have become its signature.

However, despite their spending sprees and lavish lives, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about the famous Presidential Cartel, which has since been likened to the famous Billionaires Clubs.

GET TO KNOW MEMBERS OF THE PRESIDENTIAL CARTEL

The group was popular in the Govan Mbeki municipality but has since gained membership across Mzansi.

Here are some of the members of the Presidential Cartel known by the public after their 2019 elections.

Lungile Maseko was elected the President of the Cartel. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is an electrical designer at Hatch Goba. He listed Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, South Africa, as his address.

Sidwell Masango was elected as the Deputy President of the Cartel. According to Sowetean Live, Masango also happens to be the co-founder of Mesh Kings, which he established with his late cousin and friend Caswell Maseko.

Donald Babanyane was elected chairman, whilst Sizwe Dhladhla was appointed treasurer-general of the Presidential Cartel. Basize Ngwenya was elected deputy secretary general, while Aron Madaphuna was appointed secretary general.

According to Savanna News, the Babanyane, Tsholo Matlala and his wife Charmaine are also part of the Cartel.

MANDATE OF THE CARTEL

During his presidential term as the Cartel’s President in 2017, Philip Masoa revealed that the Cartel was not always about booze and girls but also had social responsibilities in several communities.

DJ Sumbody was also rumoured to be a member of the Cartel. Before his death, he was always spotted with Cartel at their parties, and his club quickly became their playground.
