Undoubtedly, many have given a nod to the squad, while some have raised their concerns over some snubbed players they believe should have been picked.

One of the big names to have missed out from the squad is Moroka Swallows striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, who has since netted six goals this season in the DStv Premiership.

In-form Mamelodi Sundowns right-back Khuliso Mudau had his call-up after being overlooked by Broos in previous squad selection.

Orlando Pirates left-back Paseka Mako was also included ahead of the two international friendlies. Despite taking a swipe at Kaizer Chiefs players over the previous selections, the Bafana Bafana gaffer has called up Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
