According to the statement, the IG Live video was just part of the drama that came with her baby Sponge Wodumo’s birth, referring to Zama accusing her of lying about her pregnancy.

She also apologised for her use of strong language and the time the video was made.

“Due to the late release of the Crown EP, I had to draw your attention to the point where I give you a taste of part 2 of Sponge Wodumo’s story. The one you’ll saw just before Uthando Lodumo was shown on Showmax.

“I’m sorry to those who I might have offended. Due to the strong language, I had no choice but to do it around that time to protect my younger fans.”

Fans are disappointed

Not many are buying Babes’ story. Many of them have headed online to share how disappointed they are that she firstly attacked her mother-in-law and secondly continues to tarnish her reputation.
