The group made it known they never got a cent from their smash hit Umoya Wam. In a shocking revelation, the group leader, Percy Nyoka, said they only received a plaque from Ncwane Communications for their smash hit rather than royalties.

Despite the hit being released six years ago, Umoya Wam remains one of the most incredible gospel hits to be dropped in South Africa.

The song was from their debut album Ehhe moya wam, and the song sold multi-platinum, but the group has it that they never received anything from it, only a plaque.

However, despite the allegations, Ayanda Ncwane has yet to address the rumours that have thrust her into the top trends. Despite being under Ncwane Commutations for years, it is a shocker that there was allegedly no contract between the group and Ncwane Commutations.

Nyoka has it that Sifiso Ncwane took them in for grooming, but in the backdrop of his death, they found themselves under the watch of Ayanda Ncwane.

The bubbly composer revealed that whenever he tries to address the issue of royalties, it always ends up in a fight between the group and Ncwane.

REASONS BEHIND THEIR FALLOUT REVEALED

Nyoka also revealed that their fallout came from unpaid royalties and other management issues. The group has it that they kept quiet for professional sake but feel betrayed and used by Ayanda Ncwane.

The group has since rebranded to Abatandwa Musical Group and is now signed under Dondolo Music Productions. Seasoned music executive Sina Kwepile is now their new manager.
