Two South Africans who recently bagged R2.7 million jackpots this past week have revealed how they plan to spend their millions.

MEET THE R2.7 MILLION WINNERS
The Citizen reports that the two South Africans who recently claimed their jackpot of R2.7 million each, struck gold on Saturday, 26 August.
The first winner, who is a 71-year-old resident of Hermanus in the Western Cape says he wishes to buy a new car, while the second winner, who is a 38-year-old from Johannesburg aspires to further his education and improve his family’s quality of life.
The second winner adds that he manually selected his numbers via the Capitec app and chose the numbers after six weeks of deliberation. The jackpot winners who choose to remain anonymous reveal they played with less than R5 each.
The latest millionaires were announced three days after a 55-year-old man won R26 million in the Ithuba National Lottery on Wednesday, 30 August.

PENSIONARE SCOOPS NEARLY R50 MILLION
National Lottery Ithuba also announced that a 70-year-old pensioner won nearly R50 million on 8 August in a PowerBall draw.
The senior citizen who clinched a remarkable R49 934 523 says he plans to take care of his children and grandchildren.
“My three children and four grandchildren will now have the opportunity to live in comfort, free from financial concerns.”
“It’s a dream come true, knowing they will be well taken care of.”
