Two South Africans won the R128 million Powerball jackpot

Ithuba confirms that the R128 million Powerball jackpot has finally been won by two South Africans. They will each receive R64 million.

Two South Africans picked the winning numbers for the R128 million Powerball jackpot draw on Tuesday, 17 October.

R128 MILLION POWERBALL WINNERS

ITHUBA confirms that two South Africans will each walk away with an astonishing R64,460,746.18 each after winning the R128 million Powerball jackpot this week.

The PowerBall jackpot in Draw 1450, held on 17 October 2023 rose to R128 million after 20 consecutive roll overs.

Ticket 1, which bore the winning numbers, was sold at via the ABSA platform, while Ticket 2, the other lucky winning ticket, was purchased from the FNB platform.

The National Lottery said that by Wednesday, 18 October morning, none of the winners had come forward.

Another South African chose five correct numbers in the Powerball and will walk away with R727,672.40.

ITHUBA ENCOURAGES WINNERS TO COME FORWARD

Ithuba is encouraging the winners to contact the National Lottery Helpline for guidance on claiming the R128 million.
