South Africans took to social media to laugh off SABC’s ‘threatening SMS’ which forces them to pay their TV licences.

More and more South Africans are refusing to pay their TV licences even after the public broadcaster (SABC) began its ‘threatening’ SMS campaign to non-compliant customers.

‘THE SABC WILL NEVER WIN’
South Africans were concerned by the ‘SMS threats’ they received from the SABC to pay their TV licences this month.
In the SMS, the broadcaster is demanding TV viewers to pay their outstanding balance immediately or face consequences.
Some frustrated viewers took to social media to reveal that they will not be paying the channel a cent while some expressed confusion by the messages.
